ABOUT CLAIRE
Claire is a Registered Physiotherapist working out of Squamish, BC with a Masters of Physical Therapy from Queen’s University (2014). She has a special interest in orthopaedics and sports injury rehab, using a combination of manual therapy, dry needling/acupuncture and individualized exercises to help you reach your goals. Her treatment approach is grounded in listening, educating and empowering her patients.

Claire also has a special interest in pelvic floor rehabilitation. Being a mom of two littles herself, she understands some of the challenges one may experience related to pregnancy and the postpartum journey. Combining her experience as an orthopaedic and pelvic floor physiotherapist, Claire is able to help women prepare, empower and thrive throughout all stages of life. Claire enjoys treating a variety of conditions, ages and activity levels, from acute sports injuries to pregnant mamas, and everything in between. She has continued her education through post-graduate training in Advanced Orthopaedic Manual & Manipulative Physiotherapy through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (Level 3) and has advanced training in the treatment of hip & low back pain, pregnancy related pelvic girdle pain, running related injuries, scoliosis management, knee injuries, surgical rehab and TMJ disorders.

Once a competitive cross country skiier and biathlete at a national level, Claire knows the importance of physiotherapy for injury prevention and rehab. When not in the clinic, Claire can be found trail running, cross country skiing, biking, snowboarding, playing soccer and chasing after her two daughters.

Claire accepts direct billing to most insurance companies, ICBC and WorkSafeBC.

Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, 2010 (University of Calgary)

Certified in Functional Dry needling (Evidence in Motion FDN 1&2) and Acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada (CAFCI).
