Claire is a Registered Physiotherapist working out of Squamish, BC with a Masters of Physical Therapy from Queen’s University. She has a special interest in orthopaedics and sports injury rehab, using a combination of manual therapy, dry needling and movement re-education to get you pain free and back doing what you love. Claire strives to find the root cause of dysfunction, by assessing whole body movement patterns, biomechanical faults and postures. Claire is trained in pelvic floor rehabilitation, and has continued her education through courses in pelvic girdle pain, urinary incontinence, postpartum rehabilitation and pelvic organ prolapse.
Claire enjoys treating a variety of conditions, ages and activity levels, from acute sports injuries to pregnant mamas, and everything in between! She has gained valuable experience with surgical rehabilitation, after working alongside many orthopaedic surgeons throughout her career, and enjoys the challenge of ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair and hip/knee replacements. She has continued her education through post-graduate training in Advanced Orthopaedic Manual & Manipulative Physiotherapy (Level 3) and has a special interest in the treatment of post-concussion syndrome, neck pain, running related injuries, TMJ disorders, and more!
Once a competitive biathlete on a national level, Claire knows the importance of physiotherapy for injury prevention and rehab. When not in the clinic, Claire can be found playing soccer, biking, snowboarding, cross country skiing, trail running and chasing after her toddler.
