Claire is a Registered Physiotherapist working out of Squamish, BC with a Masters of Physical Therapy from Queen’s University. She has a special interest in orthopaedics and sports injury rehab, using a combination of manual therapy, dry needling/IMS and movement education to get you pain free and back doing what you love. Claire strives to find the root cause of dysfunction, by assessing whole body movement patterns, biomechanical faults and postures.
Claire enjoys treating a variety of conditions, ages and activity levels, from acute sports injuries to pregnant mamas, and everything in between. She has continued her education through post-graduate training in Advanced Orthopaedic Manual & Manipulative Physiotherapy through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (Level 3) and has a special interest in the treatment of hip & low back pain, running related injuries, whiplash & neck pain, knee injuries, surgical rehab and TMJ disorders.
Claire also has a special interest in pelvic floor rehabilitation. Being a mom of two littles herself, she understands some of the challenges one may experience related to pregnancy and the postpartum journey. Combining her experience as an orthopaedic and pelvic floor physiotherapist, Claire is able to help women prepare, empower and thrive throughout all stages of life.
Once a competitive biathlete at a national level, Claire knows the importance of physiotherapy for injury prevention and rehab. When not in the clinic, Claire can be found trail running, cross country skiing, biking, snowboarding, playing soccer and chasing after her two daughters.
